Zack Snyder is an American director, producer, and screenwriter whose popularity has exploded in recent years thanks to his comic book movies. Best known for his action films 300 and Watchmen, Snyder became known to the masses when he was tapped to direct a new Superman blockbuster, Man of Steel by Warner Bros., an origin story that explores the superhero’s conflicted existence on planet Earth and how he deals with his superpowers. Snyder is also responsible for bringing to the big screen the DC Comics cinematic universe with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the precursor to the much-awaited Justice League films.
