Nintendo Co., Ltd.

The Wii U is a handheld gaming console that was launched in 2012. Nintendo created the Wii U and much of its popularity has come from being a next-generation product. Many classic Nintendo, GameBoy, and Super NES games have been re-released on the Wii U, including The Legend of Zelda, Street Fighter, and Super Mario Bros. Electronic Arts temporarily rocked the Wii U world when they announced in 2013 that they would reduce support for the Wii U project, but later reconsidered. In June of 2015, company reports stated that Wii U had sold 10 million consoles and 61 million software units to date.
