Total Nonstop Action (TNA) is a wrestling organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. After the WWE, TNA is America’s largest professional wrestling organization. TNA began after the World Championship Wrestling organization disbanded in 2001. Started in 2002 by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, Dallas-based Panda Energy purchased 71 percent of the company and changed the name to TNA. In 2004, TNA withdrew from the National Wrestling Association (NWA). TNA is best known for moves that are typically reserved for a higher weight class known as X Division or stunt-style moves. Celebrities that are part of TNA include Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, Hulk Hogan, and TNA President Dixie Carter.
