Superman is an alien who was born on the planet Krypton under the name Kal-El. Before the planet was destroyed, his father, Jor-El, placed him on a ship to save him, and he landed in the American Midwest. Superman was raised by Johnathan and Martha Kent under the human name Clark Kent and has unmatched superpowers, which he uses help those in need.
