Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games is a video game developer based in New York City. It is owned by Take-Two Interactive. Rockstar is best known for the Grand Theft Auto franchise, and its game Grand Theft Auto V set sale records, earning $800 million on its first day, and $1 billion over the first three days following its release. Rockstar Games also developed the popular video games Max Payne, Red Dead, Midnight Club, Bully, Manhunt, and The Warriors, among other games. Each game features an open world, first person aspect which allows players to not just play the game’s storyline but perform other activities as well. In 2014, Rockstar Games received the BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award at the British Academy Video Games Awards.
