Although McDonald’s sells burgers in each of its restaurants, the menu varies drastically based on the country it is based in. McDonald’s was founded in 1940 in San Bernardino, California. McDonald’s is famous for having its own charity called the Ronald McDonald House that helps families with sick children find shelter while they are seeking medical attention. As one of the largest food companies in America, McDonald’s is often in the news for improving policies concerning their food quality.
