Leonardo DiCaprio is an award-winning actor well-known for his blockbuster role as Jack Dawson in the 1997 film, Titanic. Prior to his major success with Titanic and numerous movies to follow, DiCaprio already had many acting projects under his belt.

DiCaprio, born in Hollywood, California, landed his first acting role at the young age of five when he appeared in the television series, The Romper Room. Plagued by the acting bug, the young DiCaprio landed several small parts in other shows, including a role as a homeless boy on the then-hit show, Growing Pains.

In 1992, DiCaprio had his first breakthrough movie role, alongside Robert De Niro, in This Boy’s Life. Since then, the actor has achieved mega success in numerous films, playing a variety of roles that’s landed him the respect of millions across the world.
