Kristen Stewart, 25, is Los Angeles-born actress who rose to superstardom after starring as Bella in the hit movie series The Twilight Saga. As a child, Stewart grew up with a family in show business. Her father, John, worked as a stage manager and a television producer, while her mom, Jules, worked as script supervisor. Through her parents’ experiences, Stewart learned the ins and outs of show business well before most people go on their first audition. Stewart landed her first role at the young age of 14 when she was cast in the 2004 film Catch That Kid. Since then, she’s proven through various other projects that she’s a serious actress, despite her extremely public and often messy romantic life, which included a tumultuous relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
