Known in college as “Johnny Football,” Manziel gained a reputation for his explosive playmaking ability while at Texas A&M. After winning the Heisman Trophy in his freshman year, Manziel suited up one more season for the Aggies before heading off to the NFL as a first-round pick for the Cleveland Browns in 2014. But the NFL was not as kind to Manziel as the college ranks. Manziel struggled in his first year with the Browns, where teammates accused him of caring more about partying than learning the playbook. Manziel left for several months in rehab as soon as the season ended and dropped the Johnny Football moniker after his rookie year.
