Jessica Simpson is an American singer, reality star, and entrepreneur. She rose to stardom in 1999 with the single “I Want To Love You Forever,” which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 100. Controversial during her early career for her decision to abstain from sex until marriage, Simpson married Nick Lachey in 2002, later calling the marriage one of the worst financial mistakes she’s made in a 2015 interview on CNBC. In 2003, Simpson starred in the MTV reality series Newlyweds, which portrayed her first year of marriage to Nick Lachey. Simpson later divorced Nick, citing irreconcilable differences. After her divorce from Lachey in 2006, Simpson married Eric Johnson, a former NFL tight end, and the couple have two children, Max and Ace. Simpson now manages a billion-dollar clothing line.
