Glee is an American television series that includes singing and music as well as comedic acting. The characters in Glee attend the fictional William McKinley High School and are participants in the school’s glee club. Glee characters deal with different social issues particularly regarding sexuality, race, and relationships. It was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, and aired on Fox from 2009 to March 2015. Because singing is an integral part of the show, several albums have been released featuring songs from the series. The series stars Matthew Morrison, Jayma Mays, Jessalyn Gilsig, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, and Jenna Ushkowitz. The cast has expanded to 14 and 15 characters at times.
