The highest grossing animated feature film in movie history, Frozen grossed $1.274 billion at the worldwide box office after it was released in November 2013. Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen, Frozen tells the story of Anna and Elsa, the princess and queen of Arendelle, respectively. Elsa has the ability to produce ice, frost, and snow at will, and after thawing Arendelle in a permanent freeze she heads to the hills for isolation, while Anna follows her, with just Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven for company. Populated with hit songs like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want To Build A Snowman,” Frozen also went on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
