Electronic Arts (EA) is a video game company with roots that go back to 1982. When the personal computer was first invented, EA was not far behind. In the mid-1980s, EA Made waves by designing games for the Commodore computer. EA’s first claim to fame was DeluxePaint, which was created in 1985. When Nintendo became popular, EA jumped on board in 1990 as a console game maker. EA began their billion-dollar empire with their own games such as the Madden football series, FIFA, NBA Live, The Sims, Medal of Honor, and Mass Effect. In 2015, EA was estimated to be worth $515 billion.
