Darren Wilson was a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer who shot strong-arm robbery suspect Michael Brown. The police shooting of the unarmed black teenager sparked nationwide debate and a series of demonstrations, riots, and looting in St. Louis County. A grand jury opted against indicting Darren Wilson on murder charges in the Mike Brown case. Although Wilson was never charged with a crime and the Brown shooting was deemed justified, the white police officer was still the target of death threats. Wilson decided to resign from the police department and to pursue a career out of law enforcement. Wilson, 29, has kept the whereabouts of the residence he shares with this wife and child highly secret due to ongoing threats of violence.
