Chris Christie, born Christopher James Christie, is the 55th governor of New Jersey. He was elected the governor of the state in 2009, and he was then reelected for another term in 2013. Christie went to college at University of Delaware where he met his wife Mary Pat, with whom he has four children: Andrew, Sarah, Patrick, and Bridget. Christie was a candidate for the Republican nomination in the 2016 presidential election but eventually backed Donald Trump, who went on to win the Republican nomination and then the presidency against Hillary Clinton.
