Bravo Media LLC. A Division of NBCUniversal

Bravo is an American television network that is owned by NBCUniversal. It was launched in December 1980. Bravo originally aired programs related to fine arts and film, but in recent years has switched its programming to reality television. It is now best known for its The Real Housewives franchise and other hit reality shows such as Top Chef. Another popular program is Inside The Actors Studio. Bravo transformed from a fine arts channel to a reality show channel in 2003, when it became famous for airing Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, a show aimed at helping fashion-challenged men become more stylish. The same year, Bravo aired the popular Project Runway. During Olympic years, Bravo also supplements NBC’s coverage of the international sports event.
