Born in November of 1970 in New York City, Bethenny Frankel was born to a horse trainer and an interior decorator. She had a volatile childhood that was admittedly marked by alcoholism and violence.
After moving back to New York from Florida, Frankel attended the Natural Gourmet Institute as a foundation for her culinary career. Frankel is best known for her time on The Real Housewives of New York on the Bravo network. During that time, she created her SkinnyGirl brand, which is comprised of cocktails, wine, and snacks with an emphasis on lower calories and a healthier approach. Frankel has one daughter, Brynn Hoppy.
