Amazon.com, Inc.

Amazon is the largest internet-based retailer in the United States, growing from its small roots and an online bookstore to specialize in just about everything that can be sold. The company now operates across the world, and in 2015 even passed Walmart as the most valuable retailer in the United States. Amazon produces its own line of electronics, making a name for its Amazon Kindle book readers and Fire tablets. Amazon now operates in the world of original entertainment as well, producing television shows, including signing Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May of the popular BBC show Top Gear for a new car series.
