Aaron Hernandez is a former football player for the New England Patriots. From 2010 until 2013, Hernandez played tight end for the Patriots. During his career, Hernandez was a celebrated player and is the youngest football player since 1960 to have 100 yards receiving in a single game. In June of 2013, Hernandez was indicted on murder charges in the death of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player. After he was charged, Hernandez was released from his contract with the New England Patriots. In 2014, Hernandez was indicted on two other murder charges for the double murder of Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado. In 2015, Aaron Hernandez was found guilty of the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd and is currently serving a life sentence in a Massachusetts prison.
