Stassi Schroeder decided to return to Vanderpump Rules , because she wanted to make peace with some former friends. Stassi quickly got back on track with some of her former co-stars, including Scheana Marie and Tom Schwartz, but Katie Maloney wasn’t so quick to forgive. In fact, Katie had no interest in meeting up with Schroeder. Tom made the mistake of inviting her to their engagement party, but Maloney was furious when she found out. But now, six months later, it sounds like they could be friends.
According to a new Instagram post, Stassi Schroeder may just have shared a huge surprise. She could be friends with Katie again, as she shared a picture of them together at what looks like a Pucker and Pout party. Of course, Pucker and Pout is Katie’s beauty blog, which launched while she was filming Vanderpump Rules .
“Kristen taught me how to party crash. Pucker and Pout.. Watch out for the bitch ghost,” Stassi Schroeder revealed on the picture she shared, which featured both her and Katie.
And fans were thrilled with the news that they could be talking again, as one person wrote, “So glad. It took a while but i knew you two would forgive each other and continue to be friends. So happy the love is still there.”
Maloney may have questioned Stassi’s return, and one can imagine she kept her distance for a long time. But Schroeder seemed very determined to make her relationship work with her former best friend. And when Stassi returned to California, she decided to sit down with Lisa Vanderpump first. Lisa had paid off Schroeder’s ex-boyfriend, who threatened to sell a sex tape she had made of herself. Vanderpump paid the man $900, and Stassi Schroeder was back to give her the money. And that exchange was interesting for Katie to watch.
“This was an experience to witness. Honestly, I struggled a bit watching this. On one hand I am just beginning to witness Stassi really claiming and taking responsibility for her actions and it’s too hard for me to sum up how I feel about this. I have never seen Stassi really swallow pride and address these sorts of things with anyone. I really see her going there and overextend herself,” Maloney revealed of Stassi Schroeder’s conversation with Lisa, according to Bravo.
Stassi did try to downplay Lisa’s role in her life by calling her an old lady.
“She is a woman who knows more, who has lived more, and who has learned more. For those reasons, I give her my respect and don’t question her,” Maloney revealed.
“Stassi on the other hand is allowed to feel what she feels. I know firsthand how she was affected by what happened and I will say with all fairness that she was the only one who could decide the severity of her situation. I saw Lisa come in and offer support. Whether that was what Stassi wanted or needed is not for me or anyone else to decide. This is a topic that I have struggled with even though it wasn’t my own struggle to begin with. It’s so difficult seeing both sides and understanding both sides in such massive ways. I have only wished for them both to arrive at a place where mutual understanding can be felt and understood,” she points out, according to Bravo.
Many people are thrilled that these two are indeed friends again. It will be interesting to see how their friendship develops over the next few episodes and the reunion special.
