Kim Kardashian has taken numerous pictures flaunting her post-baby body after the birth of her third child, despite using a surrogate this time around. Her latest picture is among her vast series of selfies and she’s in her underwear and using a bathroom mirror, which is nothing unique when it comes to the most famous Kardashian sister.
This time around Kim is sporting a new coiffure, one with beads in her hair, which is a style that’s brought her ridicule in the past due to cultural significance. She’s been accused in the past of “cultural appropriation for wearing her hair in ‘boxer braids,'” according to People Magazine. Kim Kardashian has been accused of taking many things to the edge and it’s her pertinacity for crossing that line in the sand that has brought her to the fame and fortune she enjoys today.
While Kim doesn’t have any obvious talent along the lines of singing, dancing, or acting, which is how most Hollywood celebrities became celebrities, she’s honed in on the art of selling herself as a brand. Kim’s latest post is a rather rare post, as she is demonstrating the art of multi-tasking on a couple of levels.
The mother of three has managed to put a cellphone in one hand to take this snapshot and a hold a landline phone receiver up to her ear with the other hand as if she is talking to someone, that picture can be seen here via People Magazine. Whatever pose she has dared to strike these days following the birth of her third child, it is almost as if she is celebrating a post-baby body that she wouldn’t have had at this stage of the game if she had opted to give birth herself.
Kim posted a photo of herself in the nude following the birth of her daughter Chicago West. The photo was taken to “celebrate” the birth, according to Fox News. She posted that picture to her Instagram account last week and it went viral. She had that photo professionally done, but the majority of her recent posts have been scantily-clad Kim Kardashian selfies.
Is Kim demonstrating her multi-tasking talents of having a third child without missing a beat in her much publicized and constantly imitated body shape? Or is this really about her ability to balance the use of two phones at one time while taking a selfie video and pictures with the other?
According to an article from Today, Kim has said it was difficult for her to not carry her third child because she did carry her first two. But today she is apparently loving the fact that her hour-glass figure hasn’t left her for even a minute this time around, which is evident by the numerous scantily-clad pictures she posted lately.
While at one time Kim Kardashian’s fans celebrated her tendency to bare all, today there are more and more objections to this emerging within her fan base. As Fox News reported, several people commenting on Kim’s naked picture last week asked about Kim’s thoughts into the future as the kids get older and see this pictures online.
“I kinda feel bad for your kids that their mom is STILL posing like this… maybe class it up a bit for them,” was one comment on her nude photo. Another person asked, “Why do you do that? So your children are ashamed when they’re grown up?”
Whatever Kim Kardashian is doing is hard to decipher, as there can be several meanings behind this sudden rash of racy pictures being posted online by the queen of reality. Back in 2016, Kim opened up about her problems with her own body images while being pregnant and after giving birth. According to ET Online, Kim wrote the following.
“Having a positive self-image has always been important to me because it affects so many aspects of my life: my work, my relationship with my husband and my life as a mom.”
She admitted to having a harder time with her body image during her first pregnancy with North and she gained about 50 pounds. It took her a good six months to get her post-baby body back after her first child.
“During my first pregnancy, I just wanted to cover up,” she wrote. “I wasn’t used to how being pregnant made me feel, and I honestly had a hard time being comfortable with it. The second time around, it was easier for me to embrace the changes. I loved finding looks that showed off my pregnancy curves.”
Then after her son Saint was born, she had 70-pounds to lose.
“I was so jealous of women who had these cute little baby bellies and would gain 25 pounds — and then, a few weeks after giving birth, somehow look exactly like they did before they were pregnant, lol. That’s not me.”
With the way Kim struggled with her body image during and after her first two pregnancies, it could be that she feels it is a time to celebrate when she can have her cake and eat it too, so to speak. She was able to have her third child without going through the trauma of body image issues this time around. So for Kim, it seems this surrogate birth was a win-win situation.
