Johnny Depp Defenders: Amber Heard Accused By A Swedish Doctor Of Fake Bruises [Opinion]

Johnny Depp is receiving bad press again, and there is a battle underway on social media expressing opposing views about Amber Heard’s abuse allegations. Fans of Depp have been tenacious in their defense of Johnny, but third wave feminists have taken Heard’s beautiful face marked with bruises, whether real or fake, as a symbol for their cause.

Amber Heard’s alleged abuse at the hands of Johnny Depp is being questioned by Dr. Margareta Stammler who states with certainty in the video below that Amber Heard’s famous bruises are fake, citing her 35 years experience as a doctor.

“One can see this is a little dot but the lip is not broken or swollen, and if you look closer to that one, it is photo edited.”

Amber Heard’s bruises were not caused by Johnny Depp, but are fake according to Dr. Stammler. Stammler says in the video below Amber Heard’s bruises are fake and do not have all the characteristics of real bruises.

“I can also explain how real bruises appear and what it causes and what damage it makes and how to verify at the emergency ward if it is real or fake.”

Amber Heard filed for divorce in 2016, only two days after Johnny Depp’s mother passed away, alleging that on the previous night a grief-stricken Johnny tossed an iPhone at her. Amber Heard admitted she and Johnny Depp were discussing Depp’s recently departed mother at the time.

Amber Heard cited irreconcilable differences, not abuse as her reason for seeking a divorce from Johnny Depp on the original court papers according to the second video below. This is despite the fact Amber Heard called police on Johnny Depp the night before, reporting that Depp threw an iPhone at her face.

Even though Johnny Depp was never charged with a crime, and police found no evidence of any crime on the night Amber Heard called them to report Depp’s alleged cell phone attack, the idea persists that Johnny Depp abused Amber Heard.

Amber Heard has not discouraged this line of thinking, attempting to pick up the “Me Too” cause. Feminists rallied in response to Amber’s more recent statements to wage a boycott of J.K. Rowling’s upcoming film, due to Rowling’s choice to cast Johnny Depp in Fantastic Beasts 2.

Amber Heard is quoted making a comment of support to the “Me Too” movement on the Huffington Post.

“When a woman comes forward to speak out about injustice or her suffering, instead of aid, respect, and support, she will be met with hostility, skepticism, and shame. Her motives will be questioned and her truth ignored.”

In deference to Amber Heard’s inference that she was abused by Johnny Depp, Fantastic Beasts 2 Director David Yates told the Daily Beast he doesn’t believe Johnny Depp was abusive.

“With Johnny, it seems to me there was one person who took a pop at him and claimed something. I can only tell you about the man I see every day: He’s full of decency and kindness, and that’s all I see. Whatever accusation was out there doesn’t tally with the kind of human being I’ve been working with.”

Johnny Depp seems universally loved by his fellow actors and musicians, and many have defended him against Amber Heard’s claims. Amber filed no criminal charges nor did Amber Heard present any strong evidence against Johnny in her civil suit.

Another video by the frustrated Twitter user and YouTube commentator Autumn on Venus is clarifying the facts. Autumn finds the misinformation surrounding the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard divorce nothing short of mind-boggling, as do many fans and others who have read the news consistently or researched the subject extensively.

Johnny Depp has never been arrested or charged with domestic violence as pointed out by Autumn in the video above.

“He [Johnny Depp] hasn’t [been arrested or prosecuted.] The only person who has been arrested for domestic violence in this relationship is f**king Amber Heard. She was arrested in 2009 for attacking her girlfriend in a public place.”

There is no legal charge or admissible evidence that Johnny Depp abused Amber Heard, but Amber has been arrested for domestic violence against her former lover Tasya van Ree, as explained in People Magazine. Autumn says in her brilliantly researched video, people minimize these charges against Amber Heard because they were a same-sex couple, which Autumn says isn’t fair at all.

Autumn, who clarifies she is not a Johnny Depp fan, continues in the video, explaining the facts and displaying evidence that contradicts Amber Heard’s story.

“Guys you really really need to look at the court documents OK. If you want to believe that Johnny Depp abused his wife… You can believe whatever you want to believe, but to pass it off as fact is wrong.”

Autumn seems to believe that the video allegedly released by Amber Heard is authentic, but doesn’t show any physical abuse. The video, even if taken at face value, proves nothing except that Johnny Depp got mad and slammed a few cupboards pretty hard.

Many Depp fans, however, don’t think the video is real at all, nor do they believe the man in the video is Johnny Depp. The man does appear to be taller and about 40 pounds heavier than Johnny and is wearing a huge hat and dark glasses indoors. The image is very blurry due to the depth of field issues created by objects in the foreground. In essence, the male figure could be virtually anyone.

There is still considerable controversy between Johnny Depp fans and third wave feminists on Twitter. Third wave feminism is not at all like second-wave and that exacerbates the clash in some cases. Second-wave feminists, who may also be Depp fans, do not usually agree or identify with third-wave feminism as discussed on Pacific U.

The Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard abuse issue seems less about whether Johnny Depp is actually an abuser and more about the perception of third wave feminism, that men are flawed and women are incapable of lying. However, for those who actually care about the truth, there is no legal evidence that Johnny Depp physically harmed Amber Heard.

Amber Heard has also reportedly received a lot of criticism from some who feel her story undermines the narrative of real-life domestic violence. This seems to be the position of Dr. Margareta Stammler, rather than any loyalty to Johnny Depp, whom she does not mention in the video.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are just human beings, who divorced after 15 months of marriage. They are not symbolic or standing for something greater than themselves in this situation. People will believe whatever they want, but spreading damaging misinformation is wrong regardless of any social agendas.

No evidence has been presented to prove Amber Heard’s statements that Johnny Depp abused her, and most people who know Amber and Johnny don’t believe Depp abused Heard. Still, some people are being misinformed on social media, and tabloids to believe the abuse stories are legally substantiated, while Amber Heard’s allegations have not been proven in court, or even presented in criminal court.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are real people, not symbols or analogies for various movements.
