Tyler Baltierra Stays Silent On Co-Star’s Drug And Rehab Issues Despite Friendship? [Opinion]

Tyler Baltierra is often tweeting along with his fans when they watch Teen Mom OG, and he is often quick to explain himself if he sees something on the show that could result in a backlash. All of these stars claim to be good friends, so one can imagine they would support one another as they go through life, make mistakes, and film this very popular reality show. But there was little support for Ryan Edwards this week, as he made a huge mistake. Tyler, who is one of the only males on the show full-time, didn’t say a word to support either Ryan or Maci Bookout.

Everyone is talking about this week’s episode of Teen Mom OG, where Ryan Edwards got behind the wheel and drove despite being under the influence. Since Ryan isn’t big on social media, he can distance himself from the criticism. However, his future wife didn’t get a break on social media, as people call her desperate for fame. Why would she risk both of their lives by letting him drive the car?

Baltierra is often someone who will speak out about making mistakes. He’s often the first to admit when he’s wrong. However, he didn’t come to Ryan’s defense at all this week. Instead, his Instagram posts focused on his newest business venture with his wife.

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn have launched their own clothing line, Tierra Reign, and it is inspired by their two biological daughters. He took the time this past weekend to defend one of the images he shared on social media, as one of the lace shirts he shared was too short on a child model. He received a negative backlash on this post, so he deleted it. He posted another picture, which apologized for the initial image.

It is very interesting that Tyler isn’t saying anything in his co-star’s defense. They all claim to be great friends behind the scenes, but it doesn’t sound like there’s much support from Baltierra.

What do you think of Tyler Baltierra’s lack of posting? Are you surprised that he isn’t saying more about his co-star’s behavior?
