Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone through a lot these past months, but they are finally at a place where they are able to think about rebuilding their friendship. With all that has happened, is that even possible? Maybe. They are ready to find out.
The tension between Brad and Angelina has been so thick that you can almost see it hanging in the air. The media has been hovering over their every move as they try to figure out exactly what happened to ruin their marriage, and what is happening between them, currently. Rumors are flying around about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. But they have children, and somehow, they are going to have to figure out a way to make their divorce work, and becoming friends again is part of that for them.
Hollywood Life reported that they were told by an anonymous source that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are ready to rebuild their relationship now and put the past behind them. The source told Hollywood Life that “they are definitely in a much better place now than they were even a few months back.” The source reported that Angelina appreciated the fact that Brad took responsibility for his drinking problem and publicly admitted that it was the cause of their breakup.
Apparently, he is a changed man since he got help through therapy and quit drinking alcohol.
“Brad is so much less angry all the time, he’s more reasonable and willing to listen,” according to the anonymous source.
Brad Pitt went public in an interview with GQ to talk about his life now and what happened with Angelina. He admitted that drinking had taken over his life and that he didn’t actually remember what happened on that private plane ride that took place right before he and Angelina split up. He talked about how excessive his drinking had become and said that he had been completely sober for over six months. This was really significant to Angelina.
It can be hard to work things out after a divorce, especially when there are children involved. Brad and Angelina have six children, and as custody arrangements are being worked out, they will have to figure out temporary arrangements. Who will live with which parent and when will they be there and who will take care of school stuff? These are all things that every family must consider when a divorce occurs, and it is even more complicated when there are many children. Disagreements will happen, and they can easily turn into conflict that can make friendship difficult, if not almost impossible.
The person that anonymously spoke to Hollywood Life says that there was a lot of anger on the part of Angelina Jolie because she felt like Brad Pitt was a stranger to her. She’d actually considered just cutting him out of her life. However, after Brad stopped drinking, “They are able to actually have conversations again,” and isn’t that where rebuilding a relationship starts?
If Angelina and Brad are both willing to listen to each other and build a new kind of friendship, they may be able to work it out so that they can both be happy. Most importantly, they can protect their children from the drama of the divorce and give them a stable and happy family life.
What do you think? Can Brad Pitt and Angelina actually be friends again? Will they be able to work out their divorce in an amiable way so that their children are not negatively affected by the separation? Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
