The vivacious and all-embracing Donald Trump probably had no idea that Hillary Clinton actually practiced getting away from him when Trump extended his arms to give her a hug. Hillary was actually role-playing ducking Trump’s open arms in lieu of getting caught in a hug during the time Trump was her political opponent. A new video emerged that shows Hillary Clinton role-playing with her staff as she tries to side-step the man mocking Trump and his unwanted advances of a friendly hug.
That seems rather cold, to actually go through a practice run so you don’t get an embrace as a friendly gesture. Knowing that Hillary actually devoted time setting up a role-playing session so she didn’t have to get hugged by Trump says a lot about the woman who had hoped to be president.
This video of Hillary’s avoidance of a hug was posted online by one of her staffers who thought it was rather funny, according to the Washington Post. Hillary was preparing for a debate with Trump that was just two days away at Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. She actually walked up on a stage with a mock Donald Trump in this video and attempted to duck out of a hug.
How ironic this is, especially after people couldn’t relate to Hillary enough to vote for her. Many complaints were heard about Hillary being far from personable and giving off a feeling that she was unapproachable. Apparently, she was unapproachable and she spent time practicing to make dang sure she stayed that way.
Below is the video that Hillary’s staff person shared with the world because he thought it was rather funny. It was funny, but it was the mock Donald Trump who deserved the laughs. The video was shared by the Washington Post and can be seen by clicking this link.
As you can see in the video, the mock Donald Trump greets Hillary with open arms and she offers a sorry attempt at a high-five and tries to scoot away. The mock Donald Trump wasn’t going to let that happen and actually tries to tackle her to land that hug.
It looks like Hillary Clinton’s cool demeanor wasn’t all just for show as new evidence suggests she’s really not the touchy-feely kind of Democrat like some of her peers. Joe Biden is a Democrat who has no problem reaching out and touching those around him, sometimes to the point that it gets a bit creepy.
Most of you can remember the night that Ash Carter was sworn in as the defense secretary. Joe Biden was a bit too close to Carter’s wife, Stephanie, as reported on NPR back in 2015. Biden was just being friendly, but you can tell by Stephanie’s face that she was a bit uncomfortable, as seen in the Facebook post below.
Biden, who just recently revealed his true feelings about Hillary Clinton the candidate, caused some jaws to drop around the nation because what he had to say wasn’t very nice. As the Los Angeles Times reports, Biden said about Hillary, “I never thought she was a great candidate. I thought I was a great candidate.”
Biden said this in front of an audience in Las Vegas. The room was filled with hedge fund managers, who were attending the annual SALT conference. Even Biden saw something in Hillary that didn’t make her a good candidate in his eyes.
Hillary, on the other hand, comes off as a bit cold. Even when you see her in an occasional embrace, she appears rather stiff and uncomfortable getting that close to someone. It was well known that Hillary had no love loss for Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, but the video seems to indicate that Hillary had a real aversion to being touched by Donald Trump.
