NFL Star Patrick Mahomes and Britanny Matthews Share First Photo Of Son Bronze at Disneyland
It is a celebratory family time for the Mahomes after the epic win at Super Bowl on Sunday. According to New York Post, NFL star player Patrick Mahomes and his wife Britanny Matthews are off on a family vacation to Disneyland to celebrate the 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, where Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time in his career. The adorable family of four was seen posing in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, and in the photo, the face of their newborn son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III was shown to the public for the first time. “Welcome to the happiest place on earth, Bronze and Sterling!” the post reads.
The now-viral picture was captioned along with a heart emoji, welcoming the two babies to Disneyland. The famed theme park instantly joined in the celebrations with a mini parade for Mahomes. Patrick along with his family waved to the on-looking crowd while being driven in a Chief's parade car. Britanny Matthews and Patrick Mahomes tied the knot in March 2022 and revealed in May that their family was expanding to four. The couple’s first child daughter, Sterling, was born in February 2021 and turns 2 years old next week. “Bronze,” their son, was born November 28 and fans were eagerly awaiting a photograph of the young one. This is the first time a picture of Bronze has been shown to the public, and what better time than after the Super Bowl win on Sunday?
The supportive family was present to watch the 27-year-old MVP quarterback become the seventh player in NFL history to win both regular-season MVP and Super Bowl MVP in the same year. He threw three touchdowns on 21 of 27 for 182 yards. He also made a rush for 44 yards, with his 26-yard scramble on the final drive of the game. The game-changing crucial move eventually set up Harrison Butker’s game-winning field goal.
As the pro athlete etched history with the big win, his wife and their 2-year-old daughter, gathered on the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to congratulate him, according to People. The couple shared a passionate kiss before walking back to the pavilion together. Patrick was seen carrying his daughter, Sterling, while being cheered by Chiefs fans around him.
It has been an epic 24 hours for the Mahomes, who guided the Chiefs to their second Super Bowl title in the last four years with a 38-35 victory over the Eagles on Sunday night. The NFL player partied away the night with The Chainsmokers band at an afterparty hosted by the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa.
It is expected that the rest of the teammates along with Mahomes will be making their way back to Kansas City for the traditional victory parade. For now, the family is having the time of their lives at Disneyland.
