The other day, we reported the titles that Netflix will be getting rid of at the end of this Labor Day weekend. Well, as the saying goesm it’s out with the old and in with the new for the streaming service. While you may be in mourning that The Fisher King and Dirty Dancing are getting the heave-ho, there’s a ton of exciting movies coming.

Here’s just a few of the titles coming to Netflix starting in September:

All Is Lost Good Morning, Vietnam The Double Silver Linings Playbook Swiss Family Robinson 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain A Single Man Bad Grandpa The Believers Cool Runnings Filth Flubber Guess Who Killing Them Softly Lords of Dogtown The Moment School of Rock Your Sister’s Sister …and more.

As for the television shows coming in September there’s a bunch to catch up on.

About a Boy (season 1) Arrow (season 2) The Blacklist (season 1) Bones (season 9) Californication (seasons 1-7) Criminal Minds (seasons 7-9) The Fosters (season 2) From Dusk Till Dawn (season 1) How I Met Your Mother (season 9) The League (season 5) New Girl (season 3)

That’s just to name a few.

The most exciting deal comes from NBC’s The Blacklist . Deadline reports that Netflix acquired The Blacklist for a hefty $2 million per episode. You don’t exactly have to do the math to figure out that’s a boatload of money. It’s said that the first season will debut next weekend on the streaming service.

So far a lot of people are reacting to the amount of money Netflix paid out for the series starring James Spader.

@IGN Kinda expensive, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! Way to go, @netflix !

“ @hannibalburess : I feel like Netflix licensing Blacklist for 2 million per episode is their version of buying bottles in the club.”
