An Arkansas man faces two counts of capital murder when he allegedly stabbed two men with a machete Wednesday night..
Gregory Aaron Kinsey was coming back from the Dollar Store when he thought he saw his mom’s ex-lover. He started to look into a backyard, but the two men sitting on the front porch asked him what he was doing.
The 20-year-old said that Satan was within him before he whipped out his machete.
The two men tried to move away from him, but Kinsey kept following them with his knife. He continued to stab the men until an eyewitness threw a block of wood at him. He then stopped what he was doing and ran away.
When the police arrived, they found Brandon Prince’s body on the front porch and Nathan Young’s body in the grass.
According to police, Kinsey said that he had a clear mind during the attack and that and once the fight started “it was like he was watching a movie.”
Sgt. Daniel Grubbs said that Kinsey didn’t have a previous criminal record and didn’t have a connection to the witnesses.
“You can’t explain evil behavior like that,” Grubbs said.
Police described the scene as something “out of a horror movie.”
Kinsey is not the only person who has stabbed people with a machete. John Thuo killed up to 400 people with machetes when he worked for the mob in Kenya.
Thuo has been living in the United Kingdom since 2003 but can’t be deported. He even admitted to killing all of those people and said he felt a lot of remorse.
“It’s true, I killed a lot of people. I don’t like talking about my past. I feel guilty for what I’ve done. I feel remorse,” he said. “I’ve started a new life here and I’m looking for regular work. If I go back they’ll kill me. They’ll behead me.”
