Liverpool is looking to become the next destination for Argentine international Carlos Tevez. Tevez, who is currently away in Chile at the Copa America with the Argentina national team, has been linked with Liverpool this summer and could be bought for just £10 million.
According to reports, Tevez could make his decision as early as Wednesday. However, Liverpool faces stiff opposition from former 2014 Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and Boca Juniors.

The 31-year-old is under contract until 2016 and has made it clear that he won’t sign an extension with Boca Juniors, his most preferred destination. The Atletico Madrid president believes that it will be difficult for any European club to sign Tevez because of the draw to his homeland.
“It’s difficult to compete with personal sentiment, as his heart might tell him to go to Boca, but he’s a player we like who is a great person and professional.”
Liverpool seem to be preparing for life after Raheem Sterlin g , but the Anfield club is resolute in making as much money as possible from the Sterling sale. Sterling may be the hottest commodity this summer with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Manchester City reportedly expressing interest in the young English international.
