Lamar Odom is reportedly “missing,” and there may be a legitimate reason why. According to the Mirror , his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian has just over a month to wrap up divorce proceedings, or the case could be dismissed. It’s no secret that Lamar is totally against the divorce. On several occasions, he’s made it clear that he still loves his wife and he’s not ready to throw in the towel.
“He believes that her heart will lead her back to him,” a source close to Lamar recently told Hollywood Life /a>.
Delusional or hopeful?
Well, regardless of how he feels, Khloe is on the other side of the fence. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is reportedly adamant about calling it quits. Although she recently made it clear that she doesn’t want to be involved with French Montana, that doesn’t necessarily mean she wants to be with Lamar, either.
According to TMZ , the 30-year-old reality star recently confirmed she still has plans to finalize the divorce despite not being able to contact him. Several media outlets have even reported reconciliation rumors over the past couple months, but Khloe insists that’s not the case. However, it does seem like she’s still a bit indecisive about moving forward with the divorce because there are ways to proceed without Lamar’s cooperation. A source close to Khloe recently shared details about an alternative she could take to have the divorce finalized without dealing with him.
“Khloe has been advised by her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, to formally enter a default judgment of divorce, which would render her single again,” a source explained to Radar Online . “With Lamar failing to respond, Khloe is well within her legal rights to go forward without him,” the source said. But even after all of the heartbreak Lamar has caused Khloe, there is a hesitation on her part to do anything. If nothing is done, in the next 45 days, it will be dismissed by the judge.”
