Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak was quick to respond to cheating accusations directed at her husband, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, Thursday.
Former Indiana Pacers cheerleader Elizabeth Seward claimed she had an affair with Biermann prior to his marriage to Zolciak. Seward called it a “whirlwind love-at-first-sight thing.”
“I want Kim to know about it,” the 25-year-old told In Touch . The two met in Indianapolis in January 2010 and Seward even had text messages from her five-day fling with Biermann. She also said he flew her out to training camp and told her, “You’re my girlfriend, we’re going to make this work.”
In one text conversation, she tells him how embarrassed she was to see pictures of him and Zolciak at Cynthia Bailey’s wedding.
“How could you have not told me? I left a week ago,” she wrote. Biermann responded, “I don’t what you want me to say. I f****d up I’m sorry.”
Seward then goes on to say she wants a better answer and asks if Biermann has feelings for Zolciak. She goes even further and asks him if he’s been tested since he slept with her.
“This is disgusting,” Seward wrote. “You kissed me goodbye a week ago and told me you loved me.”
Biermanna and Zolciak began dating in May 2010, but didn’t take their relationship public until after Bailey’s wedding. The two were married on November 11, 2011 and have two children together (Zolciak has two other children, Brielle and Ariana, from previous relationships. Biermann started the process of adopting the girls this year.)
“Obviously our relationships overlapped,” Seward said. “[I felt] completely betrayed.”
However, a source dismissed Seward’s claims .
“This woman is trying to wreck [Kim’s] happy home life. It wasn’t betrayal. It was just the normal thing that happens when someone is dating and finally falls for someone,” the source said. “The other people get left behind and sometimes they get hurt.”
Shortly after Seward’s story came out, Zolciak responded to the accusations on Twitter.
