Jamie Lee Curtis was hospitalized yesterday after a car crash in Venice, California.
TMZ reports that the actress was in the passenger seat of a black Yukon SUV which crashed into a BMW.
Curtis suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
The driver of the vehicle was also injured in the crash. The gossip site reports that the driver’s injuries were more serious. The driver was also taken to the hospital.
Jamie Lee Curtis’ car accident also had a surprise guest appearance by Jodie Foster. A witness said that Curtis immediately called her friend Jodie Foster after the crash and within minutes The Silence Of The Lambs star was on the scene.
Curtis hasn’t commented on the incident but USA Today reports that she has already been released from the hospital.
A rep for the actress told Gossip Cop: “Jamie was a passenger in a car involved in a collision. She went to the hospital to be checked out but she is fine and is home resting.”
