Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have chosen a family name for their daughter according to Eva’s brother, Juan Carlos Mendes. According to The Mirror , Eva and Ryan decided to name their baby girl something traditional, keeping her family’s Cuban heritage alive. While Juan Carlos didn’t give away too many details, he did say that his sister and Ryan are “great parents,” and that the whole family is overjoyed with this little blessing.
“They’re great parents. Ryan’s going to be a great father. He’s just such a down-to-earth, nice guy. You couldn’t ask for anything better. Of course, I’ve held the baby. We went to visit them in the hospital — the whole family was there. We’re a very tight, tight family, and Ryan, his family is the same way — very supportive,” shared Juan Carlos.
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have not said anything about their newborn daughter. The couple has decided to keep everything ultra-private when it comes to their baby, and Juan Carlos totally respected that. When he was asked what the baby’s name was, he declined to comment, citing the fact that his sister and her beau are “very private.” What he did say, however, was that the child was given a “family name.”
According to Enstars , there is a good possibility that the little girl was named after Eva’s mother, Caridad Corrales . The baby could have been named Coral — or some other version of Eva’s mom’s first or last name. Perhaps Cari, Kerry, or Carrie. Gosling’s mother’s name is Donna, and that could have been given to the child as a middle name.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Eva and Ryan have completely revolved their lives around their new baby. “[Ryan’s] family is now his number one priority. He’s accomplished everything work-wise that he had hoped and this is the next step in his life,” said a source. No one has even seen Eva or Ryan since the child’s birth. They are taking things very slow and really staying out of the public eye during this super special time in their lives.
Not much else is known about Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling’s daughter. And forget seeing a picture. The public will be lucky to get a glimpse of this child before she’s 1. Regardless of how badly you want to see this Mendes/Gosling offspring, you have to hand it to the celebrity couple — they are doing a great job at keeping their child safe and keeping their lives out of the spotlight.
