Her book "Each Day I Like It Better: Autism, ECT, and the Treatment of Our Most Impaired Children," was published in April. She is one of the co-founders of EASI Foundation: Ending Aggression and Self-Injury in the Developmentally Disabled (www.easifoundation.org), a non-profit that supports autistic individuals with dangerous behaviors and their families.
