Alec Baldwin and his wife, yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, are reportedly expecting their first child together.
A source close to Thomas told In Touch , “Hilaria has told only really close friends and family she is pregnant, only a close circle she trusts. They are both so excited and Alec is so in love with her.”
The source went on to say that Baldwin tells all his wife’s friends “that she is the best thing that has ever happened to him.”
Baldwin and Thomas began dating in 2011 after meeting at a New York restaurant called Pure Food and Wine in February. Baldwin introduced himself to Thomas and the two began talking. Baldwin gave Thomas his card and they went on their first date a couple of days later. They became engaged in April 2012 and were married on June 30 . Baldwin, 54, is 26 years Thomas’ senior.
The 30 Rock star has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger. In 2007, after being divorced from Basinger for seven years and fighting to remain in his daughter’s life, he infamously called the then-12-year-old a “rude, thoughtless little pig” in a voicemail. Two years later, Baldwin admitted to Playboy that he considered committing suicide because of the leaked voicemail.
Baldwin joked to E! Online that now that 30 Rock is ending, he’s counting on Thomas to be the breadwinner .
“I want my wife to go to work now,” Baldwin said. “I told her I want her to sell a lot of yoga videos. Get out there! Get going! Go, go!”
