Disney is currently taping their annual Christmas Day Parade at Walt Disney World , and they will conclude on Friday. From Tuesday through Thursday, stage performances were taped with the likes of Reba McEntire, Seal, Jason Derulo, and others. On Thursday, Ariana Grande was set to perform but ended up being late. Thanks to her being tardy, a singer from the crowd may have just gotten his big chance as his voice has now gone viral.
The crowd had gathered around the stage at Magic Kingdom, and knew that Ariana Grande was going to take the stage. It was already known that many of her dancers had already arrived and were in the Walt Disney World parks on Wednesday night.
It was said that Grande would be hitting the stage early that morning, but then she wasn’t there. Twenty minutes went by. Then, 45 minutes had gone by. Ninety minutes had passed and the crowd was getting a bit restless so producers and crew tried to find ways to kill time.
Hosts asked if anyone wanted to tell a joke or perform or do anything. A couple of people gave their attempts at singing, and then the microphone was passed on. Soon though, a young man began singing and the show producers almost immediately told him to stop.
They told him to stop so he could get on stage and continue singing. Kaden Charming posted a video of the young man singing on his Facebook, and it went viral almost immediately. There’s a good reason for that, and all you have to do is watch the video at this link to find out why.
As he continued singing, the crowd turned absolutely silent and stared in shock as as the young man continued to sing his heart out as the legendary David Foster played the piano for him. It seems like it would make anyone’s day, and it actually did.
With the video going viral and the word getting around about this amazing singer, it was finally revealed that the singer was Rhett Wheeler. He’s no amateur, but this was a “dream come true” to him and who knows where this could take him.
According to his website , Wheeler holds a Bachelor of The Arts degree from the New School University in New York City. He’s traveled the world and keeps on performing in hopes of catching his big break that could send him onto super-stardom.
Well, Ariana Grande being late to the stage may have done just that.
While there’s no guarantee to what could be in the future for Rhett Wheeler, many fans in attendance for the taping of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade wanted to hear more of him. After it was all over, he got off the stage and Ariana Grande finally made her big entrance — a full three hours late.

Rhett Wheeler was immediately flooded with friend requests on Facebook and ended up starting his own “Entertainer” page so everyone can follow along with him. Everyone is throwing their support to him and hoping that more is to come from the young man.
Honestly, everyone was actually hoping that that Disney would include him in the Christmas Day Parade. That could very well be in his future and so much more.
When it comes to stardom, there is talent that can get you just about anywhere you want to go. Other times though, it takes being in the right place and at the right time. For Rhett Wheeler, he not only used his born talent, but he has Ariana Grande to thank for being three hours late for her performance at the 2015 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade at Walt Disney World .
