LetsTalk’s Not So Subtle “Screw You” To AT&T: $250 Motorola Atrix 4G with Dock

As reported earlier this week, AT&T has decided to end many of their 3rd party mobile phone distribution relationships, including those of long time partners LetsTalk and Wirefly. Now it looks like LetsTalk is fighting back in their own way, cutting the price of the Motorola Atrix 4G with an included Laptop Dock to just $250 with contract and rebates, basically half of what AT&T charges directly for the setup.

While the move won’t bring AT&T to their knees anytime soon, it does essentially kill the asking price of those units both now and when supplies are gone, a move that could force AT&T to deeply discount the same hardware bundle to appease customers.

As LetsTalk runs the Walmart wireless portal it’s good news for the world’s largest retailer and keep them on AT&T’s good side while reaping all the benefits of the LetsTalk “going out of AT&T business” sale.

Given the Dock issues that the Atrix 4G has been having, perhaps the price is more in line with what it should be. Gotta love a good fire sale.
