‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ Glitches Gone With Update, Good And Bad

Grand Theft Auto Online glitches are supposedly a thing of the past after Rockstar’s latest patch. Of course, the glitches also affect the cash and experience farming cheats. You win some and you lose some.

Previous complaints that Grand Theft Auto Online was causing items, cash, and even characters to vanish have been addressed with a new patch which fixes it so you won’t lose the things you paid for (hopefully). The good news is that you won’t lose what you purchased now. The bad news is that those farming glitches that have hit YouTube all over the place have been fixed so they don’t work any more.

If you’ve been a good little digital hooligan and not cheating beyond the cheat codes previously reported by The Inquisitr for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the patch works in your favor. For those of you who have been exploiting the system to get rich, you’re going to have to work for the rest of your wealth, as Grand Theft Auto Online‘s glitches won’t let you do that now.

Who knows? Perhaps the people who have been taking advantage of the farming glitches might get a markup on their Xbox Live Reputation?

Unfortunately, the items, characters and such that you’ve lost due to the glitches are gone for good. Hopefully the patch will prevent that from happening again.

The patch released by Rockstar weighs in at 39 MB on PlayStation 3 and 59 MB on Xbox 360, so those of you with a strong signal should be up and running with the fixed game in no time. In the meantime, continue to follow Rockstar’s advice on the glitches, and exit to the GTA 5 Story Mode before you save your game just to be on the safe side.

Hopefully, Rockstar’s latest patch for Grand Theft Auto Online‘s glitches will help to eliminate the issues and let you just have fun.
