Justin Bieber: Ripped AND Heartbroken, That’s Some Combination

Justin Bieber’s totally ripped, perfectly toned torso gleams in his latest topless Instagram.

At 19-years-old, the pop singer’s hard-won body and his habit of showing it off at any and every opportunity — and frankly, who wouldn’t in his place? — indicates the Biebs may be heartbroken over Selena Gomez, but he’s also in prime condition.

But then, only a singer at peak fitness could get through the mammoth Believe tour. Currently on his Asia leg ahead of a Thursday concert in Seoul, Korea, Justin will have played over 150 gigs by the time the 15-month trek wraps in Australia on December 8.

In the picture, the “Heartbreaker” singer flexes while pointing at his personal trainer, looking nothing like the skinny, nude adolescent first seen in TMZ’s shabbily obtained pictures in August.

The pair work out regularly in a weight training regime designed by Patrick Nilsson (the trainer) who travels on the tour.

Somewhat inevitably, within hours of posting the said topless snap Bieber received thousands of ‘Likes’ — at the time of press, nearly 750,000 and counting.

Asked about his fitness regime, the singer previously told Newsday: “We all want impressive chest and arms.”

And there may be one person in particular the Canadian is hoping will also like the buff display, a certain Latina actress-singer.

Following the midnight release of his new single “Heartbreaker” on Monday, which kicked off a 10-week release cycle of new cuts from the singer’s Journals album, Justin took to Twitter to explain the background to the song.

The Instagram message read: “It’s a song for people going through a heartbreak – like I was when I wrote it. It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans. I’m very proud of this song and I hope it give my fans some insight into my heart – JB.”

Since its release, “Heartbreaker” has stormed iTunes charts around the world hitting the #1 spot in 63 countries.

Bieber’s topless photo wasn’t the singer’s only Instagram post of note this week.

On Tuesday, the singer uploaded an Instavid of himself jamming to “Heartbreaker,” delighting fans — and possibly Gomez.

Meanwhile, the singer’s promotional campaign — dubbed “Music Mondays” — is expected to lead to the release of Journals, while dovetailing the end of his world tour and run-up to the Christmas debut of the Jon M. Chu-directed Believe documentary.

Bieber is ripped and apparently heartbroken, but business has never been better.
