Michelle Duggar ‘Trying’ For 20th Baby
Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob, are “trying” for their 20th child, the mother and grandmother said in a recent interview.
The 19 And Counting reality TV show mom said they would be “blessed” with another pregnancy, while talking to Celebrity Baby Scoop.
“I would hope, but we are not expecting right now.” Michelle, 47, who suffered a miscarriage in 2011 said.
“I would be so grateful if the Lord blessed us with another one. We’re trying at this point and we shall see if that is a possibility. If not, we are so thankful and grateful for the ones that God has given us so far. We are also definitely enjoying our grandbabies! They are so precious!”
Michelle and Jim Bob, 48, have been married for 29 yeas and have 19 children, whose names all start with a J. They also have three grandchildren by their eldest son, Josh, Mackynzie, 4, Michael, 2, and Marcus, 4 months.
Michelle Duggar has said that they are open to adoption and are praying to God whether they should look into this option for their 20th child.
Room is not a problem, since he couple has adapted their large home to accommodate large numbers of children who they welcome with open arms.
“We love children, and we really believe every child is a special gift from God.” Duggar said.
The mother of 19 tells Security Baby Scoop she doesn’t believe in overpopulation.
“We have studied it and I believe that there is a misconception about overpopulation. I think that the whole mindset of overpopulation is really overrated,” Duggar explains. “A few years back, we stated that the whole population of the world could be stood shoulder-to-shoulder in Jacksonville. That may have changed a little bit since we’ve heard that statistic.”
Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob don’t show any signs of slowing down their baby production and are going for their 20th just to even things out.
