Bruce Jenner Feels ‘Free’ After Separating From Wife Kris Jenner

Bruce Jenner said he feels “free” now that he is separated from wife Kris after more than 20 years of marriage.

After months of rumors that the two were on the rocks, Bruce and Kris confirmed on Tuesday that they had been living separately for close to a year.

Bruce Jenner seems to be taking advantage of the situation.

”I’m finally free to do what I want and live life the way I want,” he told TMZ.

Sources say the split between Bruce and Kris Jenner is amicable and both remain committed to raising their daughters, 17-year-old Kendall and 16-year-old Kylie.

And though they are now living separately, sources say Kris and Bruce have no plans to divorce.

”We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” they said in the joint statement. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

Kris told Us Weekly that she and Bruce decided jointly to keep the split private, adding that there are no hard feelings.

“There is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family…. We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are longer a couple in that way.”

Brody Jenner, Bruce’s son, confirmed the split in an interview a few weeks ago, saying that his father was living alone in a beach house.

Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner will still be seen together, at least on television. The couple are still featured on the family’s reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians.
