Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Scott Crowned Homecoming Queen, Dad Watches Secretly

Can you believe that Hailie Scott — yes, that Hailie — is old enough to be Homecoming Queen at her high school? Wasn’t she just an adorable toddler on Eminem’s last album?

As it turns out, the year 2000 was a long time ago, and Hailie Scott is all grown up. Seventeen, to be exact, and a senior in high school.

Scott is Em’s daughter with Kimberly Scott, the “Kim” from much of his early work. And not only was Kim on hand to watch Hailie crowned Homecoming Queen this week — one of the world’s most beloved and famous rappers also spied the coronation… but from afar.

Eminem is probably well-versed in the propensity for anything involving his presence to become “The Eminem Show,” a circumstance he was sure to avoid for Scott’s big day.

One parent at the school explained how the rapper (aka Marshall Mathers) avoided a diversion, commenting anonymously:

“Hailie came out with her mother Kim when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene — he wanted Hailie to have her own moment… He opened the door and looked out like — ‘That’s my daughter!’ He just looked like a proud father.”

Probably because he was a proud father, random fellow parent!

Another parent of a classmate said that Miss Hailie is a model kid — known as nice, smart, and civically involved. The unnamed parent adds:

“I think all of the kids in the district have shown respect to their family and just let her live a normal life here out of the spotlight.”

Alongside Hailie Scott — who was reportedly unanimously the choice for Homecoming Queen amid both classmates and staff — senior Tyler Knepp, who describes himself as a “nerd,” was selected as Homecoming King.
