Kristin Kreuk: ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Season 2 To Have Love Triangles

Kristin Kreuk says Beauty And The Beast season 2 we’ll be seeing a Kristin Kreuk love triangle.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Kristin Kreuk was featured in a Street Fighter movie before joining the cast of Beauty and the Beast.

In a nutshell, Kristin Kreuk’s Beauty And The Beast role has her playing a detective named Catherine who’s trying to solve her mother’s murder while fighting a lingering attraction to a “horribly disfigured monster” named Vincent played by Jay Ryan, who in reality has a scar on his face so he’s still dang sexy for the female demographic of the MTV audience.

Just in case you haven’t watched Beauty And The Beast season 1 I’ll skip the details, but the short of it is that Vincent is a supercharged boyfriend that’s about to get some competition. Kristin Kreuk says “the procedural [stuff] that we did at the beginning of season 1 is all gone, and it’s just going to be a really rich, mythology-based show this season.” The identity of Gabe will be discussed and “it’s awesome how he returns.” (Sorry, mini spoiler!)

Kristin Kreuk and her co-actors say Beauty And The Beast season 2 will test the Catherine/Vincent love fest:

“We are interested in exploring some triangles, so we will have another character coming in who will challenge VinCat. Just when it seems like things are going well, someone will come in and challenge [that]…and lead them to wonder, ‘Should I be with this person instead?'”

The two character will be pulled apart “intensely,” which will be revealed in the first BatB season 2 episode.

What direction would you like the character of Kristin Kreuk to take in Beauty And The Beast season 2?
