George Clooney Nearly Starred In ‘Out Of Sight’ With Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney have managed to wow audiences with their roles in the hit movie Gravity, but did you know that almost wasn’t their first shared movie together?

When Steven Soderbergh was casting his crime comedy Out Of Sight 15 years ago Bullock was considered for the role.

Speaking to Yahoo! Movies Bullock jokes about losing the role to Jennifer Lopez:

“When you know each other, you don’t think, ‘Oh we have gotta work together. Years ago I had a meeting with them for Out of Sight. They didn’t want me for the film and I was like, ‘Oh, our friendship is so over.’ It obviously wasn’t over. But that’s the only time [we came close to being colleagues].”

While the A-List star admits that she would have loved to work with George Clooney in Out of Sight she was more than happy that Gravity became their first starring vehicle together.

Jennifer Lopez landed the role of US Marshal Karen Sisco after coming off a string of hits that included Selena and Anaconda.

Joking about Clooney not changing much since the 1990s Bullock proclaims, “His suits are better, his hair is better. He hasn’t’ changed at all. He’s still a child at heart in terms of his desire to explore and create and fearlessly do it…he doesn’t think about consequences, in the best way.”

So are their sparks in the air for Sandra Bullock and George Clooney? Not according to the “Bro Code” says one snoop. As it turns out Sandra once dated one of George Clooney’s best friends.
