Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Love Child Turns Sweet 16

A lot of controversy surrounded Arnold Schwarzenegger back in the late 1990’s, when he had an affair with his housekeeper Mildred Baena, while he was married. As a result of that passionate relationship his love child, Joseph Baena was born.

Joseph, who looks like a young Conan the Barbarian, was spotted by the paparazzi today when he was out with his mother. He was looking pumped and very much like his father. A source told TMZ that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joseph are in contact and are quite close.

During his marriage to Maria Shriver, Arnie kept his extra-marital affair with his housekeeper a secret until Shriver pieced together that something was going on and confronted Baena.

Mildred Baena told Hello! magazine at the time: “I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that yes, he was, and I was so sorry. She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn’t Arnold’s fault, that it takes two.”

Apparently Baena and Arnie only actually had sex a few times although Mildred said that at the time she thought she loved him. It is also a fact that Schwarzenegger’s son with Shriver was born just one week after Joseph.

At the time Arnold Schwarzenegger said about his affair: “There are no excuses, and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. “I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

In the Hello! interview the housekeeper spoke about the struggle she faced when she realized Arnie was Joseph’s father: “I knew Arnold was the father, and maybe as Joseph got older and began to look like him, he [Schwarzenegger] wondered. But he never said anything to me.”
