Avengers: Age of Ultron Adds Elizabeth Olsen To Cast

Marvel hasn’t made any official announcements yet but it looks like Elizabeth Olsen is joining the cast of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury, let the cat out of the bag earlier this week when he told the Wall Street Journal that the younger Olsen sister was joining the cast.

Jackson said: “I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen, but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

According to Deadline, Jackson knows what he’s talking about.

A source told the industry website that Olsen was very close to closing her deal to appear in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

The source said: “(It’s) just a matter of formality before it’s done.”

Olsen has been rumored for the part of the Scarlet Witch but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Evan Peters played the role of Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch’s twin brother, in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and Aaron Taylor Johnson is rumored for the role in the new Avengers movie.

Elizabeth Olsen isn’t as famous as her older twin sisters but she is starting to make a name for herself. She won critical praise for her performance in Martha Marcy May Marlene and she is currently working on the new Godzilla movie.
