Chelsea Clinton Promises Hilary She’ll Be A Grandma Soon

Chelsea Clinton, the former first lady’s daughter, has baby fever and has promised her mother Hilary that 2014 is the “year of the baby.”

Chelsea announced that her and hubby Marc Mezvinsky plan on having their first child next year. Chelsea Clinton, now aged 33, told Glamour magazine that she was under considerable pressure from her family to have a baby.

For her part, Hilary Clinton has made no bones about the fact that at the age of 65 she really wants to be a grandmother. She admitted in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar back in 2011 that she would most likely be an “unbearable grandmother.”

She said at the time that she also didn’t want to be one of “those” kinds of mothers who puts pressure on their kids, “but obviously, someday I’d love it.”

Chelsea and Marc have been married now for three years. About a year after their marriage, Chelsea assured her mother in a Vogue interview that she was hoping to have kids “in a couple of years.”

The love story of Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky is a romantic one. They originally met when they were teenagers, but didn’t actually date until they were much older.

Chelsea said in the interview with Glamour that despite her career, her main ambition was to be “a good wife, daughter, and friend,” adding that making money was not her primary concern.
