‘Pretty Little Liars’ Brant Daugherty Mugged After ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Show

Pretty Little Liars star Brant Daugherty had a fantastic evening on Monday’s Dancing With The Stars. After receiving praises from the judges on his dancing skills, Daughterty simply couldn’t imagine just how his night would end up to be one of the worst nights of his life.

After Daugherty wrapped on Dancing With The Stars, he was mugged outside of his home. The good night that almost turned tragic, was a scare for the actor, who just hours prior was at a career high. Brant Daugherty described his dangerous encounter.

Daugherty told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson:

“I was robbed at gunpoint right outside of my apartment building last Monday, actually after the show. [I was] walking up to the courtyard of my building, a man came by me with a gun.”

The terrifying experience had Daugherty shaken up by the whole ordeal. Having told Shaun Robinson. “I was speechless too. Honestly, I still don’t know what to say about it.”

According to Brant, authorities did not catch the man who mugged the Dancing With The Stars contestant.

“He got away,” said Daugherty.

On top of a truly terrifying situation, Brant Daugherty said that the whole ordeal took his head out of the competition, and that he suffered because of it. “It got my head out of the game, it was a distraction and I was really trying to focus but it was an overwhelming time.”

Ironically, the man who mugged Brant didn’t exactly get what he was probably expecting. Instead of buckets load of money, inside the bag were his warm up clothes for Daugherty’s dance routine.

“[Inside was] my Latin dance shoes, that was honestly the most expensive thing in the bag. I would love to see the look on his face when he opened the bag up, expecting I don’t know what, jewels and riches.”

Fortunately the situation could have ended in tragedy. Good to hear that all the gun man got was a pair of dance shoes.
