Michelle Rodriguez has addressed rumors that she is a lesbian, by confirming to Entertainment Weekly that she "goes both ways."
Rodriguez has always staunchly hidden her sexuality from the general public, asserting that it is no one's concern.
During a recent interview Rodriguez not only revealed her disdain for the media's interest in her sexual orientation, but she also discussed why they are so infatuated with her.
Rodriguez candidly remarked in a refreshingly honest chat, "I don't talk about what I do with my vagina, and they're all intrigued. I've never walked the carpet with anyone, so they wonder: 'What does she do with her vagina?' Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I'm a lesbo."
Entertainment Weekly then remarked that it was unfair for publications to call her a lesbian, but the 35-year-old wasn't as concerned.
She continued, "Eh, they're not too far off. I've gone both ways. I do as I please. I am to ****ing curios to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks."
Rodriguez's comments aren't the first time that she has addressed the lesbian rumors that have surrounded her career. Back in 2006 she told Cosmopolitan magazine that she'd had dalliances with women before, and then in November 2006 she was romantically linked to Kristanna Loken, her openly bisexual co-star in Bloodrayne.
Since then she has been on cover of lesbian magazine, Curve, who decided to run a story confirming that Rodriguez is bisexual, which she later denied. She also denied being a lesbian in November 2008 during an interview with Cayena, a Dominican women's magazine.
Rodriguez has also been linked to several of her male co-stars, including Fast and the Furious' Vin Diesel, and S.W.A.T.'s Olivier Martinez, and she was previously engaged, before she broke it off in early 2000.
