Jodie Foster Is Dating Ellen DeGeneres’ Ex-Girlfriend, Alexandra Hedison

Jodie Foster is allegedly dating Alexandra Hedison, an ex-girlfriend of Ellen DeGeneres.

Foster has been “quietly dating” the 44-year-old photographer for several months, and a source was even prepared to tell E! News, “It’s pretty serious. They’re totally in love.”

Foster and Hedison have been spotted together on two occasions in 2013. They attended a seminar in Los Angeles earlier in the summer that covered technology, before then heading out for dinner a few days later alongside numerous other friends.

Hedison dated DeGeneres between 2001 and 2004, and it was claimed that the day-time talk show host actually left Hedison for Arrested Development star, Portia de Rossi, who she is now married too.

Foster came out as gay to the general public during a highly emotional speech at January’s Golden Globe awards.

In front of a plethora of her friends, which included Robert Downey Jnr, Mel Gibson, and her two sons, Charles and Christopher, Foster remarked, “This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age.”

She continued, “In those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and coworkers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her.”

Foster then bitingly concluded, “But now apparently I’m told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance, and a primetime reality show.”

The Taxi Driver, Elysium, and Contact actress, who has won two Academy Awards, had previously been in a 20 year relationship with Cydney Bernard, who she shares joint custody of her children with. During her infamous speech she called Bernard her “heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life.”
